III.Outline of Graphical Input Method |
Using the graphic editor, you can input and edit the tractive effort
curve, the energy consumption curve and other performance curve.
The running resistance is specified by formulas and their coefficients.
.
There are 4 curve formats, polyline, Bezier curve, theoretical hyperbolic curve and its correction curve.
There are four ways to compose a train.
Whole Train |
The whole train performance data |
Locomotive Hauled Train |
Train is composed by specifying locomotives and trailers |
Train with motive units |
Train is composed of motive units. |
Coupled Train |
Train is composed of two trains or locomotives |
In this input method, the input performance data is the performance of a whole train formation.
Click "Main" tab and then click "Input Train(Graphical)" button.
The new dialog box is displayed and there are buttons surrounded by the blinking red frame.
These buttons are specific to the train data type .
kgf |
The unit of force is kg. |
N |
The unit of force is Newton. |
Whole Train |
The data value is that of the whole train. |
Comprised of Motive Unit |
Specify the motive unit to build up the train |
Locomotive Hauled Train |
Specify the trailer and the locomotive to haul |
Single Locomotive |
Base data for "Locomotive Hauled Train" |
Comprised of Motive Unit |
Locomotive comprised of motive unit |
Single Motive Unit |
Base data for "Comprised of Motive Unit" |
Coach/Wagon |
Base data for "Locomotive Hauled Train" |
Coupled Train |
Train is composed of two trains or assistant locomotives |
